PBk7 self-dispersed black pigment dispersion.
AIC-Black 0058 is a Carboxylic Series self-dispersed aqueous black pigment dispersion with 15 wt% pigment solids. It supplies the PBk7 colourant component for ink makers preparing water-based inkjet formulations.

FORMULATION TRIAL
Evaluate the black ink as a complete system.
Agree the required print appearance and relevant measurements for the target media. Keep the preparation, print and drying conditions recorded so that changes in the black component can be compared meaningfully.
Include particle-size profile and filtration behaviour in the technical review, together with viscosity, conductivity, pH, surface tension and the observations from storage and printing. Use the current TDS to discuss the grade's technical targets.
When the project includes a CMYK set, review Black 0058 with AIC-Cyan 6900, AIC-Magenta Red 1015 and AIC-Yellow 2024. Request the current batch COA and agree the sample quantity and qualification programme with AIC.
The published application routes include DTF, DTG, GTF, desktop pigment inks and corrugated digital printing. Plan the final ink trial around the intended printhead, substrate and process.
