PR122 self-dispersed pigment dispersion.
AIC-Magenta Red 1015 is an aqueous magenta colourant with 15 wt% pigment solids and a carboxylic surface-modified pigment platform. It supplies the pigment component for ink makers developing water-based inkjet formulations.
GRADE OVERVIEW
Magenta colourant for aqueous ink development.
PR122 is the colour index for C.I. Pigment Red 122. In this AIC grade, the pigment is supplied as a prepared, self-dispersed aqueous colourant for incorporation into an ink vehicle.
The published application routes include DTF, DTG, desktop pigment inks and corrugated printing. Select the binder, humectants and other formulation components for the intended printhead, substrate and drying process.

Reported test conditions
Solid content: automatic drying with a moisture analyzer at 110 °C. Filterability: a 500 g sample through a 0.45 µm glass-fiber filter membrane in three portions—100 g, 300 g and 100 g—under a negative pressure of 0.08 MPa. T1, T2 and T3 are measured in seconds.
Instrument and test-environment differences can affect results. Use the actual results for the relevant batch and method.
