CARBOXYLIC SERIES · C.I. PIGMENT YELLOW 155

PY155 self-dispersed yellow pigment dispersion.

AIC-Yellow 2024 is a Carboxylic Series self-dispersed aqueous yellow pigment dispersion with 15 wt% pigment solids. It supplies the PY155 colourant component for formulators developing water-based inkjet inks.

FORMULATION TRIAL

Build the yellow trial around the print target.

Record the required yellow shade and the substrate or media used for development. Evaluate a drawdown or printed sample at the intended formulation concentration rather than judging the supplied dispersion alone.

Include filtration, printhead conditions and storage observations in the trial plan. Review the properties of the complete yellow ink, including viscosity, pH, conductivity and surface tension, with agreed acceptance criteria.

For the wider colour set, review Yellow 2024 alongside AIC-Cyan 6900, AIC-Magenta Red 1015 and AIC-Black 0058. Keep the test conditions comparable and request the current documentation for each model.

The published application routes include DTF, DTG, GTF, desktop pigment inks and corrugated digital printing. Plan the final ink trial around the intended printhead, substrate and process.
