PV19 magenta-pink: connect particle data to the inkjet route.

A particle-size report is valuable when it is read together with formulation conditions, filtration, printhead choice and the colour target—not as a stand-alone pass or fail result.

WHY COLOUR DATA NEEDS CONTEXT

One pigment index does not define one ink outcome.

PV19 magenta-pink grades can be a useful starting point for aqueous inkjet colour development. The final colour, viscosity, filtration behaviour, storage profile and print response depend on the dispersion grade and the complete ink system.

Use the current, grade-specific particle-size report for technical discussions. Do not transfer a report from one colour or formulation directly to another without confirming relevance.

READING A PARTICLE-SIZE REPORT

Three questions make the data actionable.

  1. 01

What material and method were measured?

Confirm the exact grade, sample preparation, measuring method and report date before using the result in a formulation decision.

  2. 02

What is the intended filtration and printhead route?

Connect the distribution to the actual filtration plan, nozzle environment and operating conditions rather than relying on a generic “nano” description.

  3. 03

    What happens after formulation?

Recheck relevant physical properties and stability after the dispersion is combined with the intended resin, humectants and additives.

A COLOUR-DEVELOPMENT CHECKLIST

Ask for technical data that supports comparison.

Hue and application need

State the intended colour space, substrate, opacity or transparency expectation and the specific print application.

Physical-property targets

Align viscosity, pH, conductivity and surface tension with the intended printer and ink vehicle.

Evidence over time

Use agreed storage and operating checks to verify behaviour of the full magenta ink formulation.

FROM DATA TO DECISION

Keep performance claims tied to the exact system.

The right conclusion from a PV19 evaluation is specific: which grade, ink vehicle, test conditions and application were evaluated. This approach is more useful to technical buyers and more credible for search than broad, unqualified performance wording.
