Phosphate PB15:3 pigment dispersion
AIC-Cyan HC-7533 is a Phosphate Series self-dispersed aqueous PB15:3 pigment dispersion with 15 wt% pigment solids. It supplies a cyan colourant for water-based inkjet ink development.
GRADE OVERVIEW
HC-7533 offers a PB15:3 cyan option within the Phosphate Series. Assess its colour response with the magenta, yellow and black selected for the same formulation, and connect the colour results to the intended substrate and printing conditions.
TECHNICAL PROFILE
Published product-level targets are listed below. The original particle-size report follows as a separate sample result.
| Property | Value or target |
|---|---|
| Nominal pigment solids | 15 wt% |
| Particle size D50 | ≤150 nm |
| Viscosity | ≤3 mPa·s |
| Electrical conductivity | ≤2,000 µS/cm |
| Surface tension | 40–80 mN/m |
| pH | 7.5–9.5 |
| Accelerated aging | 60 °C for 7 days |
| Surface tension, viscosity and conductivity changes after aging | ≤10% each |

SUPPLIED PARTICLE-SIZE REPORT
The model-specific report records the following percentile diameters, converted from micrometres to nanometres.
The supplied report records D50 at 157 nm; the TDS lists an indicative D50 target of ≤150 nm. The sample result and grade target are shown separately here. Use comparable measurement conditions and current batch data for qualification.

FORMULATION & GRADE SELECTION
Start with a cyan drawdown or print trial using the intended binder and humectant package. Record the substrate, ink laydown and drying conditions when comparing the cyan tone and density with your target.
The published evaluation routes are DTG, roll-to-roll textile, corrugated digital printing and latex ink. Review filtration, storage, circulation and jetting alongside the finished ink's viscosity, conductivity, pH and surface tension.
HC-7533 and Cyan 6900 both use PB15:3 at 15 wt% nominal pigment solids. HC-7533 belongs to the Phosphate Series; Cyan 6900 belongs to the Carboxylic Series. Use the chemistry platform and complete-formulation trial to guide selection alongside particle-size data.
