PV19 Phosphate self-dispersed pigment dispersion.
A Phosphate Series PV19 dispersion with 15 wt% nominal pigment content, for ink makers developing water-based magenta-pink inkjet formulations.
GRADE OVERVIEW
HC-S6B brings the PV19 pigment option to AIC's Phosphate Series. Its published development routes include DTG, roll-to-roll textile, corrugated digital printing and latex ink. Use those routes to frame the application trial, with the binder, additives, substrate and drying process defined.
AIC-Magenta Pink K6B provides a same-pigment comparison on the Carboxylic platform. Both grades have 15 wt% nominal pigment content. Their different surface chemistry makes this a formulation-selection question; the CI designation or a single particle-size value cannot predict which grade will suit the complete ink system.
TECHNICAL PROFILE
The current product TDS lists the following technical targets. Read these alongside the report example below and the COA for the batch supplied.
| Property | Published TDS target |
|---|---|
| Particle size D50 | ≤150 nm |
| Viscosity | ≤3 mPa·s |
| Electrical conductivity | ≤2,000 µS/cm |
| Surface tension | 40–80 mN/m |
| pH | 7.5–9.5 |
| Accelerated aging | 60 °C for 7 days |
| Surface tension / viscosity / conductivity change after aging | ≤10% for each property |
The table gives product-level targets; the report below gives sample results. Refer to the current TDS for measurement conditions and method references, and request the applicable batch COA for your trial.
SUPPLIED PARTICLE-SIZE REPORT
The supplied model-specific report records the following percentile diameters, converted from micrometres to nanometres.
These results describe the supplied report example. Use comparable instrument settings, distribution basis and sample preparation when reviewing different grades or batches.

FORMULATION TRIAL
For a PV19 comparison, prepare K6B and HC-S6B trials using a documented ink vehicle and pigment loading. Record colour development, filtration and storage observations. A separate comparison with the PR122 Phosphate grade HC-1102B can help assess which pigment route matches the required colour target.
For textile use, evaluate the binder and curing conditions together with the colourant, including the required washing and rubbing tests. For corrugated or latex-ink development, review substrate response, drying and finished-film performance. Confirm jetting and fluid-path behaviour with the intended printhead and operating conditions.
