PO34 Carboxylic self-dispersed pigment dispersion.
A 15 wt% Carboxylic Series PO34 dispersion for ink makers evaluating a dedicated orange colourant in water-based inkjet ink systems.
GRADE OVERVIEW
Orange 7372 adds a PO34 option to the AIC colour catalogue. It can be evaluated as a dedicated orange channel alongside the cyan, magenta, yellow and black grades. Assess the additional channel against the required colours, substrate, ink limits and colour-management workflow.
Compare a PO34 trial with the orange colours obtained from your existing magenta and yellow inks. Use measured colour targets and print proofs to judge the difference.
TECHNICAL PROFILE
The current product TDS lists the following technical targets. Read these alongside the report example below and the COA for the batch supplied.
| Property | Published TDS target |
|---|---|
| Particle size D50 | ≤150 nm |
| Viscosity | ≤3 mPa·s |
| Electrical conductivity | ≤2,000 µS/cm |
| Surface tension | 40–80 mN/m |
| pH | 7.5–9.5 |
| Accelerated aging | 60 °C for 7 days |
| Surface tension / viscosity / conductivity change after aging | ≤10% for each property |
The table gives product-level targets; the report below gives sample results. Refer to the current TDS for measurement conditions and method references, and request the applicable batch COA for your trial.
SUPPLIED PARTICLE-SIZE REPORT
The supplied model-specific report records the following percentile diameters, converted from micrometres to nanometres.
These results describe the supplied report example. Use comparable instrument settings, distribution basis and sample preparation when reviewing different grades or batches.

FORMULATION TRIAL
The published evaluation routes include DTF, DTG, GTF, desktop pigment ink and corrugated digital printing. Record the orange colour target, substrate, ink loading and drying or curing conditions. Where the printer supports an extra colour channel, include its profiling and separation workflow in the trial.
Evaluate the finished formula for viscosity, conductivity, surface tension, pH and filtration, then confirm circulation, storage and jetting in the intended system. For a textile route, include the binder and curing process in finished-print fastness tests. Compare Orange 7372 with the selected CMYK set under consistent test conditions.
